The Prairie Rail Workshop is hosting its 28th Annual All Aboard Model Train Show at the museum from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. The show will feature several running model train layouts, Lego railroads, vendors, videos and consignment tables.
Regular admissions to the museum include the train shows on these days. Children 5 and under are free.
This is always a must-do event for our family, as Little J is all about trains. Of course, the Western Development Museum has a big train engine you can walk into as well as a couple model trains on permanent display that are worth a visit even after the show is over.
