 Singing with Sylvia for Christmas

The Broadway Theatre is now screening the movie Babies, a delightful look at four young families from around the world. The film opened Saturday, July 10, and will run through July 22.  (Click here to watch the darling movie trailer.)

The movie documents four babies of four distinct cultures from birth to first steps.  It will shed light on the differences and similarities between family life in Namibia, Mongolia, Japan and the United States through the experiences of youngest members of these societies.  There are no interviews nor voice-over commentary, which should allow us to witness the pure beauty of infancy from four fresh perspectives.

The Broadway Theatre is offering two-for-one movie passes for this show to six lucky saskmom.com followers. If you are interested in this special offer, contact Broadway Theatre Office Manager Bonney Walters with "saskmom.com special offer" in the subject line.

Your babies are welcome to attend the movie.  (I think Little J would actually get a kick out of seeing the other babies larger than life on the big screen.)  The only caveat is that you take crying little ones into the lobby during the show with respect to the other movie-goers. It isn't Movies for Mommies, but the Broadway office manager assured me that little ones would be welcome into the show.

Babies shows at 7 p.m. on July 11, 15, 17, 19 and 21, and at 9 p.m. on July 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20 and 22.

Enjoy the show!

  1. Movies For Mommies tried to get this one but unfortunately I couldn't get it. I may end up showing it in the fall. Enjoy...
