 Singing with Sylvia for Christmas

babywearing river walk

The Saskatoon Attachment Parenting Group is organizing the fourth annual Babywearing River Walk on Sunday, July 18, at 1 p.m. The walk, which will start at the Kiwanis Park Vimy Memorial Bandshell, is open to all families.

"Babywearing has wonderful benefits for babies," said the event organizer Angie Kells. "Babywearing is great for physical development, as it is equivalent to tummy time with the muscles it works. Babies who are worn are happier and the bonding can't be beat."

In addition to the walk along the river, there will be door prizes, demonstrations and discussions about the various types of baby carriers.

Beyond Sunday's event, wearing your baby for a walk along the numerous paths on Saskatoon's lovely Meewasin Trail is a great idea for a year-round outdoor baby adventure!
