 Singing with Sylvia for Christmas

Not only should you book at least one date night during the 2012 SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival, but you also should plan to take your children to one or more of the musical events that run through Sunday, July 1.

There are few free outdoor stages that are family-friendly. PotashCorp Club Jazz, a free stage at Friendship Park, would be a stroller-accessible open space with great music, walking trails, food booths and face painting to keep your kids happy. There is a great line up of upbeat bands scheduled at this and the other free stages. {Click here for a map of all venues.}

Several of the remaining ticketed shows also welcome all ages.  Children under 13 are admitted free to performances at the TD Mainstage in the Bessborough Gardens. No ticket is required for children at this venue, but proof of age may be requested for older children. Click here to purchase tickets online.

Children -- not to mention their parents -- will enjoy moving to the rhythms and rhymes that will come alive in our city during the 2012 Saskatchewan Jazz Festival.

Enjoy!
