 Singing with Sylvia for Christmas

Today Little J's Christmas present from Mommy and Daddy finally was delivered . . . wall decor for his new big boy room! I don't know who was more excited.

After much research, I ended up going with reusable peel-and-stick decals from WallStickerOutlet.com. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and simplicity of the two sticker packs I purchased. They instantly transformed our blah guest room into a little boy's paradise.

We went with a multi-colour transportation theme. I left a few cars down low that Little J can peel and restick where he wants, which he thinks is cool.

The stickers don't leave any residue, don't harm the paint and cover up old nail holes, which I think is super cool! It makes me want to find other places around the house to use reusable wall stickers.

[There are several businesses out there selling these types of stickers.  One to check out for cute growth charts and wall letters made from eco-friendly material is Green Coconut, which is owned by a local mom.]

Little J has easily transitioned himself into the big boy bed for nighttime. However, the few-and-far-between naps I can get him to take now are still in the crib. We'll see if the new decals do anything to help transition him fully into his new room with plenty of time to spare for the arrival of his little sibling in May. (We go for our ultrasound tomorrow! Can't wait!)

  1. Happy New Year Laura! I've been enjoying your posts, I could probably write this on each one :) Glad to see your little man is enjoying the decals and the kitchen set from the last post, what great ideas. I am always looking out for things my nephew might like (he'll be 2 in March, yikes!) Have a great weekend.

  2. Thanks, Viki! This morning, he was looking at the train on his wall and he said, "My train, beautiful!" It is the first time I've ever heard him say "beautiful" . . . and it was!

Thanks for following us. I hope you have a fabulous weekend, too!
