Established in 1911, Buena Vista Park has some of the most beautiful trees in the city. I've gone there time and time again to take some gorgeous natural-light pictures of Little J at various times of the year.

This park, located between Victoria and Melrose Avenues and 5th and 7th Streets, is a nice place to picnic and to play. Its playground features a sand lot with:
~ an infant swing
~ a regular swing
~ a tire swing
~ a tall slide
~ a small slide
~ monkey bars and climbing structures

It also has a community centre, a wading pool, basketball court, picnic tables and paved walking trails/sledding trails.

June 19, 2010, BV Park was host to the Buena Vista Community Centennial Celebration. This lovely park is rich in Saskatoon history!
