 Singing with Sylvia for Christmas

bubbles in the bowl

Babies just love buh-buhs {my son's word for bubbles}.  A little bottle of bubbles is an inexpensive addition to a lovely afternoon outdoors.

One of our favourite places to visit is The Bowl.  The Bowl is the football-shaped area on the University of Saskatchewan campus that has gorgeous flowers, towering trees, carpet-like grass and numerous benches. Surrounded by buildings dating back to the early 1900s, this makes for a picturesque area to enjoy a lovely afternoon blowing bubbles or picnicking with your little one.

If you didn't pack your lunch, there are numerous restaurant choices inside Place Riel Student Centre, on the southwest side of the bowl.

Because it is a campus, beware of the odd Frisbee flying your way.
