 Singing with Sylvia for Christmas

indigo books and music

Indigo Books and Music at Circle and 8th provides several opportunities for adventure for children and lovely selections of books, music and gift ideas for adults.
I recommend starting your Indigo adventure at the adjoining Starbucks. You are welcome to take the Starbucks beverage of your choice into the book store to enjoy as your children enjoy one of the following activities.

Indigo Baby contains many popular board books, toys and gift items for infants. Several toys that they carry in the store are out on display for your baby to try out.

The Indigo Kids section features a Thomas the Train and track, building blocks, mini go-carts and play kitchen and grocery store sets. There is a smattering of other toys to play with that are available for purchase in the store. (A little birdie told me that a great group of moms and kids meet Tuesday mornings around Indigo Kids to play and chat over coffee.)

Most Saturdays at 3 p.m., Indigo provides a free drop-in story and craft time in the main kids section.  Staff read stories and hand out related colouring pages. Although the activities are designed for children ages 3 to 9, younger children may attend the sessions under parental supervision.
